Between July and October, the Resort will hatch sea turtles and then release them into the ocean. I was lucky enough to take part in this event... To do this, the beach had to be in total darkness and we all had to line up 3 fette from the waves.. Then a turtle was placed in our hand and we had to take 3 steps and release them close to water's edge then immediately take 2 steps back.
My last turtle was crazy and started scampering back up the beach.. so we had to get him turned back around in a hurry... boy they move fast!
